Anyone here researched or taking C60? Here’s some info I was sent about it:
Benefits of Carbon 60 according to scientific research:
C60 is the world’s most efficient known free radical scavenger and shows potentially therapeutic properties in treating arthritic pain, cancer, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and neurodegenerative disorders like Dementia, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

Hi @tessfair1. I looked up evidence-based articles about C60 and was not able to find very much scientific data on it. A lot of the information that I found came from sources that appeared to be sellers. As with any supplement, it would be best to discuss with a provider. Is this something you are considering using?
Thanks. I have sent info to my cancer care coordinator and, of course, would wait for their go-ahead. Trying to gather additional info for decision making.
Be careful with this so popular supplement.
Recent scientific investigation shows that it can potentially have a negative effect on DNA.
Better consult with your health care specialist before trying this product.
It has become very popular, but webmed.com does not recomend it for human consumption for lack of sufficient studies on its use.
Triada, You're right. There is little reputable information about Carbon 60 (C60) and even less evidence-based recommendations of its use. Studies appear to have been done only on mice as yet. Here are a couple of articles I found that you might wish to include in your research on the topic.
– From WebMD https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-1625/carbon-60-c60
– What is C60 Oil (Fullerene)? + Risks https://selfhacked.com/blog/fullerene-top-10-benefits-c60-oil/
According to the second article "Clinical studies have yet to determine the effectiveness and safety of C60. Thus, C60 has a high potential for harm, with unknown risks and side effects."
Triada, welcome to the breast cancer group. Have you had breast cancer?
