Carbamazepine for trigeminal neuralgia from meningioma

Posted by Texastrails @jnf, Mar 5 9:23am

Hi--I have a meningioma in my cpa (found a year ago) that is stable, so I'm on watch and wait for growth, but it's now causing trigeminal neuralgia symptoms. I've been taking gabapentin for the past four months but it's not working that well. Has anyone taken carbamazepine? Was it successful in managing trigeminal neuralgia symptoms? Did you have hard side effects? Thanks so much for any feedback!
