Hello,
Here's something I found:
"While the Mayo Clinic does not provide specific recommendations for cannabis use in large fiber peripheral neuropathy, Mayo Clinic's website does acknowledge potential benefits for reducing pain, muscle spasms, and seizures in some cases, including those related to peripheral neuropathy. However, they also emphasize the need for caution, citing potential cognitive impairment and the importance of consulting with a healthcare provider before using cannabis".
Before using anything for peripheral neuropathy, a discussion with your doctor is highly encouraged.
Best wishes and take care,
gus

I get a kick out of "doctors" trying to explain something simple and making it sound rather complicated.....yes smoking pot can help with pain, especially nerve pain/back pain, but it tends to make you stupid....

Mmmm I don't see that as a good alternative. Thanks for your reply

I have and still do. Also CBD. And I mix. Only thing that gives me any relief. I am highly allergic to any NSAID. Gummies typically from a licensed formulary in a legal state. Difficult to get a card in my state and no formularies here. MDs are well aware of usage. Not able to get opioids so this is it.

Hello,
Honestly, I am not at all surprised that humans like to complicate everything. I just can't understand why simplicity is so wrong. Years ago, my first manager told me in my first job in the electronics field in Silicon Valley California about the "K I S S'" principle: "Keep It Simple Stupid". It still rings so true for me.
Take care and have a serene day,
gus
