can you still work while being treated for Her2 Positive breast ca

I was just diagnosed with Her2 Positive (hormone positive )grade 2 stage 1 breast cancer-will see the doctors next week to discuss treatment-my question-
can I still work as a travel nurse while receiving treatment?

If you have chemo, they may not want you to travel. Some meds and chemo lower white cells and platelets.
I was stage 2, ER+ and her2+. Plus Brca2. What hospital are you at? A Research hospital will have choices of treatments that show success. Grade 2 stage 1 is treatable. Once the medical team talks to you, ask them their suggestions.
I still worked at my pet store job on weekends through chemo. From home for my regular job at a college as well. I was not a nurse caring for others. You will know what is best for you once you see the team next week.
I love that you are a nurse and i hope all the NP's and CMA's you have are as wonderful as all of mine have been.
