I am a 22 year old f, mother to a 4 year old
I am completely healthy with the exception of being tired & a weird lymphnode on my right side of my neck towards the collar bone it is palpable, and cannot be seen to naked eye only felt. This node has been present for about 10-12 years and have not noticed it to grow in size nor is it painful, it is movable. I had an ultra sound it was 0.4×0.7×1.6 cm. In size located in the subcutaneous tissue, they called it a small hypoechoic nodule, with colorful of minimal interflow.. I was ordered blood which all came back normal, I also was given test for lactate dehydrogenase and uric acid via blood which were also normal, should I be concerned still? Wanting a second opinion.. Dr said she is confident this is not HL or NHL, Have an xray for my chest tomorrow to check for any other nodes.
Cancer does not run in my family.
