@medicare94 I had the scrambler therapy done in March of 2025 in New Jersey. It did not help my pain. It is not covered by insurance...yet.
@heisenberg34 Have you had SCS yet? My Girlfriend is getting minimal relief from her SCS. (Takes Meds, and ice also.) Only when it is set on tingle for 1/2 hour at a time. Multiple times during the day. So looking for other treatments, and saw the Scrambler treatment. I've read that it is safe to try if the SCS is turned off.
Sorry Scrambler didn't work for you. We/she especially understands how that feels when different treatments fail to help. Being positive before you try a new suggested treatment is challenging. You want to brace for it not working.
@cman55 I had a SCS from 2018 to 2021. It worked very well until it just stopped working all2 of a sudden. They told me that some of the electrodes on the paddle lead had burned out44. So, I had the whole thing removed. I tried to have a trial with the Boston Scientific SCS. Unfortunatel3y, they could not get the leads in the sweet spot so I am not able to get a new SCS. I tried the Scrambler therapy but it did not fork for me. It seems to work for others. I have a pain pump but it has not given me any relief. Good luck!
