Calcified meningioma

Posted by lynr @lynr, Feb 26, 2023

My Calcified Meningioma was an incidental finding end of 2012. Had MRIs and Neurology appoints up to 2009, there had been no change so it was up to me to stop or continue being assessed. Background history, I've had migraines from the age of three. Been on migraine meds since 2000 which were working really well. December my migraine reliever didn't work 1st dose, I had a regular Drs appoint so asked what to do. She advised to take my 2nd dose when I got home plus 300mg of Aspirin. It took a bit but finally work? Then Feb 25th 2023, my reliever didn't work on first dose. Took a 2nd dose 4hrs later plus the Aspirin. It took about 6hrs to finally work. I've had visison issues for the past 3 yrs.

My problem is, should I hold off going back to my Neurologist as I have an indefinite referal, or do I wait and see if I get a 3rd or 4th break hrough migraine?
