How long after CA19-9 shows a rise will imaging show a recurrence?

How long after rising ca199 did ct scan or imaging capture recurrence ? My Ct Scan was clear but ca199 has been rising and now above 40 .

You should look into Gardant 360 test with your Doctor

@suzanna61 Though a rising ca19-9 is a good indicator of pancreatic cancer recurrence, it also can indicate liver, bile duct, or other GI issues. Have they all been ruled out as reasons for your rising ca19-9?

Thank you for your response They have done more bloods two weeks later and showing same value .. they are now going to repeat in six weeks . I am pretty sure all other things were ruled out .. it will be two years in July since my surgery and the statistics say that 75 percent recurrence with two years .. trying to remain hopeful however ..😁

Small changes like 10–20 points can happen and are often just normal variation. What really matters most is the long-term trend over time, not a single reading.
