Burning Hand Pain

Posted by atchastain @atchastain, Aug 7, 2020

I have Cervical radiculopathy and myelopathy. I had surgery 2 years ago, but still have burning pain and sensitivity in my hand. I'm on 3400mg Gabapentin, 10 mg Buprenorphine pain patch and a compound topical. I have an appt next week with my Dr to access my meds. What has everyone had luck with to relieve the burning?

Thx so much. I'm lost in so many emails ; can't track bc of Gabapentin so please forgive if this is a repeat. Is there a way, besides scrolling up/down, when that is an option lik it is here, , to tell whether or not I've already replied? Sometimes the email stands alone. Thx so much, Sunnyflower

Hi @sunnyflower navigating around Connect can be a bit complicated. Here is the only way I know if I already replied to someone. You stated before that you view Connect using your phone. If so then first go to one of the discussions, tap where you see 3 lines together, then on the menu that comes up tap on "My Account", then on the next screen scroll down to "My Profile" and on the next screen that appears scroll down and you will see all of your own posts. Perhaps from there you can tell whether you responded to a particular post or not. Hope this helps. 😉 Best, Hank

@sunnyflower Hi again! I just figured out a different way to send you a private message, and it worked. If you have never had a private message on Connect, look at the top right hand corner, where you see a little envelope. Click on that little envelope, and your private messages are in there. I sent you one! Lori Renee

I do not have that envelope icon that everyone speaks of. It's just not there. I'm trying to private message you and Jen. Here's hoping.....

Hi @sunnyflower, You won't have the small envelope icon if you are using a phone. If you click on your photo at the top you will see your Profile & Settings, Notifications, Messages and more. Clicking on Messages is the same as clicking on the small envelope.

Hi John oh, good to hear you! My Microsoft Surface tablet does not have the envelope icon nor does my Samsung Galaxy phone. We've been through this so many times but for some reason yeah mine is different and there is no envelope anywhere! I was able to get to my private messages though. Thank you so much and take good care, Sunny flower
