Pelvic floor. The treatment was recommended by a colorectal surgeon to relax the muscles impacted by the surgery. At the momenth the only pain treatment working, but only for a couple of hours, is hydrocodone.

Hi so sorry for your pain. I wanted to let you know that I also suffer with pelvic floor and colorectal issues. There’s a muscle and it’s an ugly painful devil in the rectum and when it goes into a spasm it is violently painful. All that to say there is a very inexpensive medicine called Cyclbenzaprine that will relax it in short time. I highly recommend it to you. Ask your doctor about it. The regular name is Flexaril. Good luck and God speed. Diane.

Oh the name of the muscle is the sphincter muscle. And it might work on other muscles that you suffer with that spasm.

Thank you. Interesting that none of the physicians I have visited recommended Flexaril.

I have and it took care of my symptoms for 4 months. It is so nice to have even a short term relief. My insurances covered the cost and I have them done in Phoenix.
