Bone Stimulator

Posted by Steven @soarus57, Mar 17 8:53am

Three months ago, I broke my fibula close to the ankle. The break is now considered a "non union " and I am soon to receive a PEMF bone stimulator. I’m 68 and would much rather not have surgery so I am hoping the device works. Stimulators have a high success rate, at least on paper. Has anyone used a stimulator? If so, any comments or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I had to sleep with one on my tibia for a stress fracture about 20 years ago. It solved my problem, but I can’t remember how long it took.

I broke my wrist in June of 2025. In December it was diagnosed as non-union. I went back to wearing my brace and started use a bone stimulator for 3 hours a day. In March, 2026 a CT scan said it was healed.

@debk03
I was prescribed a bone stimulator for a displaced acromion bone in February. I've been using it for 20 minutes every day. I hope it works as well as yours has for you!
