Body wide nerve sensations

Posted by mds724 @mds724, 1 day ago

I am a 32 year old male, I have been suffering from nerve sensations throughout my body the last 4 months. Including numbness, tingling, burning sensations , cold sensations, damp feeling skin, temperature sensitivity, tongue numbness. I usually only have 1 or 2 of these sensations at once and they come and go throughout the day, somedays I won’t have any. My symptoms have changed from when it started to now, early on my face and arms would go numb while sleeping a few times a week, this goes away when I get up and move and also tingling throughout the day. Now most of my symptoms are tingling and cold/hot flushed feelings on different parts of my body - mainly toros, sides of knees, ankles, tops of arms and occasionally face and ears.

This started after doing upper back stretching which included dead hanging from a pull up bar and aggressively 1 handed stretching from the pull up bar. I would start to get tingling in my head, neck, and my face would go numb when I sleep. Typically this would go away in a day and I would take a break from the exercises. This happened about 3-4 times, it’s been 4 months since I last did the stretches and my symptoms haven’t gone away.

I’ve had the following tests and all were normal.

MRI - C spine, brain, brachial plexus EMG
Blood work - CBC, LIPID, Diabetes, comprehensive metabolic, Lyme disease, Lupus, Syphilis, Heavy metals, GAD-65 Autoantibody

I don’t take any medications just
3500Iu vitamin D

My Neurologist thinks its “ something “muscular skeletal going on and prescribed low dose naltrexone to help my symptoms and reset my nervous system”

I just started taking the LDN. I’m planning to see another Neurologist for a second opinion. Are there any other tests I should have done? Could this have been cause from the stretching?
