Blood sugar rates and taking Glycogen Support for treatment

Is anyone taking Glycogen Support capsules to treat high blood sugar?
I took the 7 day Glycogen Support capsules progam to treat high blood sugar instead of insulin. In the ad it stated we would never need to take insulin again. During the 7-day period my sugar levels were low. After a time, my sugar levels creeped back up. I went from an average sugar level of 120 to 148. Is Glycogen and effective treatment to be used instead of insulin?

@pattycake2024 As much as we would like to believe it, none of these supplements is cure, or an effective long-term treatment, especially for insulin-dependent diabetes.

@bhealth44 welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. This is a good question. I would suggest checking the packaging inserts if you have already purchased it before starting to take it. If you are just considering taking it and haven’t purchased it yet you could ask your provider for his or her input. Talking to a pharmacist might also be a helpful option. Could you share a bit more about your situation?
