Check your sugar if you feel dizzy or shaking and always have some glucose tablets or orange juice to raise it quickly. Yesterday I had a peanut butter sandwich and several hours later I dropped to 45 and felt very bad so drank a bottle of juice and ate Skittles to raise it. I’m Type 1 and take insulin so it sounds like you are Type 2.

@steve9256 Do you live close to a town that has an endocrinologist? They really can tell you what you need to do. My PCP is not a specialist in diabetes, so I found an endocrinologist. If you can, try to find someone who knows. The peanut butter sandwich may have been too many carbs and add the bread and that's even more carbs. You can get control, but you need to know what to do. An endocrinologist can check your diabetes and tell you what to do. Then he/she can refer you to a dietician who can tell you what you should eat. They will help you get everything under control so that you don't have these blood swings. Seeing a specialist is worth it, if you can get to one.
Good luck and let us know how you are.
