betaderm for oral lichen planus
I am seeing an oral pathologist for my oral lichen planus. I would like to know if there is anyone out there who has been prescribed this ointment, and what are the side effects?

Several times, the information says not to be used near the eyes or mouth. But, lets hear from members!
@seekingcure101 and @becsbuddy I have been prescribed Lyderm gel (off label) for my OLP by an oral pathologist. I suppose Betaderm does the same thing. Lyderm gel works very well for me, but it is not recommended for extended use. I used it for ten days initially because my mouth was so sore but it is not recommended for use for more than 7 days at a stretch. I now use it occasionally whenever I have a flare.
