Looking for the best pet friendly hotels that are connected to Mayo Clinic Rochester. Any input would greatly be appreciated. Thnx .

There is a Facebook group called "Ask Rochester + SE MN", you need to join group. Nothing on site is vetted, so be carefull. I know some realtors and landlords monitor discussions. Rent in Rochester is expensive. If you do not have to be physically located in Rochester, you may try few towns within 30 minutes. Stewartville, Byron, Kasson. Oronoco are closest.

A few apartment complexes have shared fenced in dog areas and rent furnished apartments for short term rentals. Not familiar with all of them. Another good question for Ask Rochester.

The Berkman is the best. Awesome staff and service. Pet friendly, has a roof top level for pets to relieve themselves. Shower place for grooming if you need

I notice the Berkman website says no pets can be left alone in the room. Do they have hotel staff that can pet sit while you are in surgery and your spouse waiting for you to get into ICU? It seems this would be a fairly common scenario for guests given their location across from St. Mary's.
