Beating feeling in both ears
I havr just started getting a beating feeling in both ears after experiencing this only in the left ear the right ear has also started beating as well. Does anyone know if it likely this is pulsatile tinnitus or more likely to be Middle Ear Myoclonus (MEM) or TMJ? The beating seems more regular in the left ear and usually starts in the morning although the right ear starts beating later in the morning. Usually the beats can be between 15 seconds apart up to 2 minutes in my right ear.
The ENT thought it could be irregular pulsatile tinnitus as it didnt seem to necessarily be in time with the pulse and was spaced out when it was one ear but haven't been able to book in for another month. Online it seems to suggest pulsatile tinnitus is more likely in one ear?
Has anyone had this or similar following an ear infection or ear drum rupture?

@anagell thank you for your comment. I am sorry to hear about this. Did you have any other symptoms you noticed which were associated with this and how long did it take for a diagnosis?
I personally felt it would heal itself was told it was a inner ear infection 2021 right after 2nd shot. Now fast forward went to Mason City ent than Mayo 2024 found out stage 3 cancer removal now twice .
Running nose coughing sleeping the sweats nasty ringing ears lost balance just a few problems and pulsating was nasty. Vomiting lost all control of how I felt.
