bad breath and constipation

so i'm aware that i have issues with constipation / my digestive system bc i barely poop for 4-5 days at a time (even when i do it's just small amounts of pebbles) and it allll builds up until a random day when i end up pooping all the cycles at once within a few sittings and cramps that send me back and forth to the toilet (first pebbles then long soft logs then diarrhea then finish off with a powdery consistency) ((tmi this is gross but it is a LOT of shit. a Lot. like it piles up in the toilet. gross)). (((side note: there were a few times in the past the pain was so much that i've had vasovagal attacks and threw up while simultaneously pooping.))) there's been points before my period where my digestive system was so stubborn that those literal "shitting teas" did nothing for me. (although they've worked on other occasions.) this
"pooping all the cycles" phase happens around my period consistently. recently, i've been taking miralax and it's helped me poop either long soft logs or hard small pebbles every 2 days or so but i'm still bloated and its not helping my bad breath. it's ridiculous, really. i'm so embarrassed about it. the lengths i go to hide it in public make me seem like a closed off bitch who doesn't make eye contact or speak. literally barely 15 minutes after eating or brushing my teeth or chewing gum- anything to freshen up, it's back to stinky hot breath : ( and i've bought tongue scrapers and i brush it but it doesn't really help at all, still a white-ish texture u can’t scrub off. i don't know what to do. i wonder if it's really my stomach issues or if there's another underlying cause. or perhaps my saliva?? i do feel like it’s mucusy and thick sometimes. no idea. help

Thrush is a yeast infection in your mouth and doesn't have to be related to anything vaginal. Whatever it is a dr can take a sample and determine that. It's painless and probably worth a try it sounds like to me.

@daisymaisy I feel like I just read my own bio. Wondering if you’ve found out the issue causing your breath problem? I also suffer with constipation and breath issues.

Have you discussed your issue with your primary caregiver? Maybe you can be referred to a gastroenterologist.
I’m no medical professional but from life experience you could have a blockage that needs to be addressed.
Here’s a couple stories:
Several years ago while out to dinner with an elderly friend I couldn’t help but notice a fowl odor emitting from her mouth. 2 days later she was hospitalized and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. They knew she had an infection but couldn’t figure out the cause. She also had liquid building around the heart. 2 days later she was dead.
Fast forward to last year:
While visiting my parents out of state I noticed my mom’s breathing to be shallow and I smelled that same odor emitting from her mouth as I did our friend!
We took her in because I thought she was in congestive heart failure. The ER Dr agreed that she was in congestive heart failure….
Test were conducted and a gastroenterologist happened to be on the floor so he conducted some tests and called for a heart specialist as well.
The culprit was a bowel obstruction which caused fluid around the heart which mimicked congestive heart failure. This also caused AFib and an infection.
I’m convinced that our friend died from the same issue but they didn’t find it, the odor was identical! I will never forget that smell!
So my mom suffers from chronic diarrhea BUT this young gastrointestinal doctor said her diarrhea stems from the blockage. He explained how constipation can cause blockage and even though you’re experiencing diarrhea doesn’t mean you’re actually emptying out, hopefully that makes sense?
Bottom line is that your situation shouldn’t be overlooked! Nothing worse than being full of crap, no pun intended!
