Autoimmune Encephalitis limbic 11 year old boy

We found our 11 year old son cold purple and unresponsive in his bed the morning of August 22 2024. Normally a firecracker of a boy laid lifeless. We later realized he’d had a seizure. He’d never had a seizure before. No disabilities to mention. That very same evening he had another seizure. He was hospitalized and released in SF South Dakota. A week later he had another seizure and was put on Keppra. He continued to have seizures and by now has had just about 1000 seizures in 6 months. He has multiple seizures a day. He has a variety of different types of seizures. October was the worst. In November he started steroid treatments IVIG and Rituximab. He takes Vimpat and Valporic Acid to help lessen seizures but they do not control them. He’s attended school a total of 2 weeks this school year. It’s been really difficult. Some of his seizures leave him with amnesia symptoms. Insurance has now decided NoT to cover the last few IVIG infusions along with the Rituximab. Just looking for anyone else in the world who can compare symptoms? This next week he’ll have another MRI and EEG. He was supposed to have another infusion too but insurance says they need proof of medical necessity for approval and they haven’t been able to get it so therapy was canceled. Maybe it’s a blessing? Prayers for a healing please.
