Autonomic Neuropathy, POTS

Posted by tforst1007 @tforst1007, 2 days ago

I have been diagnosed with autonomic neuropathy and pots. I also have an artery compressing my medulla. Is there a surgery to fix that. I feel like symptoms of a compressed medulla match the symptoms i am getting medicine for and i want it fixed. Been struggling 17 years and just lost my job. 3 years ago i lost vision and movement of the left side of my body and the er said it was a bad migraine. I just feel like they are missing something.

You're not alone although it feels that way.
I wish you would begin feeling better and regain your sight.
With the Lord all things are possible. The key is believing it.

I'm experiencing many neurological symptoms yet my MRI shows no proof of a tumor or anything problems.
Doctors seem to push me to the side until they find the cause.
In the meantime, I'm deteriorating.
Saying a prayer for you now 🙏

@tforst1007, your situation is complex and likely needs the care of an expert team. At Mayo Clinic, neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists and other specialists work together as a multidisciplinary team to provide expert, individualized care. Would getting a second opinion at Mayo Clinic be an option for you?

Prayers for you too and I hope they find something to help your symptoms. Clean MRIs doesn't mean you are ok. Your concerns are real and justified.
