Posted by yojimbob @yojimbob, Oct 9, 2022

Has anyone had any relief by using aspirin ? I took some and had some feeling return until the aspirin wore off . Has anyone else had this happen ?

Hi yojimbob @yojimbob, I take a baby aspirin everyday for my heart, and was taking it before i got neuropathy. But it would be pretty easy for me to up my dose snd see what happens.
How much aspirin did you take when you it helped with your neuropathy?

Problem with aspirin is bruising. If you bump into something it makes a big blue mark. So I would imagine upping the dose will make that problem worse. I also take aspirin and it does not seem
to affect my PN. Too bad.

Hello@bovic21
As @karleenhubley states there are many problems with using too much aspirin . But I am finding 2 adult dose aspirin bring some feeling back in my feet until the dose wears off . I am not recommending it . I am by no means a doctor or anything of the sort . I was curious if anyone else had this same thing happen when using aspirin . It is something I intend bringing up to my pain Dr. When I see him this week .

y MD says that when I take aspirin I will make a hole in my stomach. I have always taken aspirin! Is that true?

Aspirin is very hard on the stomach and can cause an ulcer. Your doctor should advise you on what you can take instead.
