Did your Pulmonologist start you on an antifungal medication?

Yes. Posi when Aspergillus first dx = after 3 months, huge bad reaction=ICU due to drop in Potassium; switched from Posi… to Voti… for 18-24 months(Unsure how long) Aspergillus labs good so discontinued anti-fungal Aspergillus woke up again about 18 months ago, so back on Vori for 2nd time; Vori , as you know can have vision side effects; tunnel vision, no peripheral…switched to Cresemba been on it 3 months. 6th time pneumonia came to visit about 6 weeks ago; this time not clearing with 2 rounds of different antibiotic and higher than my maintenance prednisone… had CT … was ugly so doc/ team decided on bronch to know what’s in there and how to treat. Awaiting results of lavage… I read one lab result myself (!) and saw very high Aspergillus galactam…#s but it’s weekend so have not yet talked to my doc, hoping it’s false + ….aren’t you sorry you asked?!? But I do thank you… Do you have ABPA or any similar experience ?
