Are Are OAB and hypertension related ? (Over Active Bladder)

I have very high BP early in morning >200/100 at times. Comes down within an hour to high but not extreme < 160/< 90. Semi normal (high )all day
This scares me! Looking for answers and medication that doesn’t make me go low in afternoon.
Is this related to frequent night time urination (OAB?). (Male@77yrs)
