So we all go out and celebrate being in this elite group of survivors!! At least we are here to support one another on Connect, especially those just beginning their struggle and searching for answers. Yay for Head and Neck month! Look for a way to donate for research or just your time to help others. Thanks for the reminder.

1 Reaction@jubilta77 I am so very sorry that you have a return of your tumor and must undergo further treatment. Your issues must be very difficult to live with. Have you considered traveling to a referral center for a second opinion? Or perhaps you are already receiving care at a large cancer center. You are correct in not celebrating cancer itself, but cancer does change one's life so dramatically and can result in a greater appreciation for life itself. That life, no matter how different, may be worth celebration to many survivors. And advertising these "cancer months" may bring more visibility and monetary support for curative research. Good luck with your upcoming treatment.
