Appointment wait time?

Posted by rmfleming @rmfleming, Jan 11 2:51pm

I am a 76 year old male. I am as of today, I'm into my 12th day of persistent Atrial fibrillation my current physician is a cardiac EP in Naples Fl. He is in a one doctor office. I'm on three weeks of blood thinners before he attempts to resolve the heart rhythm . I understand why. If drugs fail and electro conversion does not resolve the rhythm. I would like to go directly to ablation at Mayo in Jacksonville, FL. In that eventuality, how long a wait would I likely encounter to get started at the clinic in Jacksonville?
