I frustrated! I am going to PT since 6/24/25 for a broken bone. My speech has gotten worse after anesthesia . But I want to talk or write it down . I didn’t have my phone to use “ text to speak” My PT looks like she doesn’t understand me , Some staff do .Finally I asked her if she understands me and she said sometimes ? I said ask if don’t understand. I gave examples- “ I hear you saying —“ she didn’t get it
I was trained in Carl Rogers “talk back” and also trained by Mayo in “ teach back”. You would think that health professionals would want to understand their patients!
