anyone with wobbling knee after total replacement?

Posted by zu53 @zu53, Jun 4 5:00pm

I just had full knee replacement surgery two days ago and today started to walk with a walker and my knee is wobbling! Absolute insecure for walking > it mostly goes back to recurvatum. Dr is amazed - never happened to him in 17 years doing knee replacement - and I am very nervous, anguished. Like “I don’t know what to do. Any one had this experience? Thanks a lot! Muchas Gracias

@zu53
I’ve had both of them done.
I remember my knee being very unstable for at least two or three weeks.
Make sure you do your exercises. Physical therapy is painful but it will help you.

After a lot of PT and strength training my knee still hyperextends A failed surgery,
The original spacer was too thin . I am scheduled to put in a thicker spacer by a different surgeon.
