This is to mention the use of Near infrared light ((NIR) therapy in the treatment of Neuropathy.Mind you, Near infrared light is not the same as infrared red light, which produces heat. Near infrared light does not produce heat, and is invisible. The NIR penetrates the skin and reaches the blood vessels. It causes the production of Nitric oxide, which causes the blood vessels to dilate, allowing a greater blood flow which promotes the repair/healing of the nerves. The devices for this therapy are available on the internet.I bought one on Ali express. It is strapped to the foot, limbs, hands with a velcro strap. It is painless

Hello -- Has your 'red light' unit work for you?

This therapy is not the same as red light therapy. It is called "Near infrared light" therapy, not because the light is red, but because the wave lenght is near the wavelength of Infra red light. The light used in the NIR therapy is actually invisible to the naked eye. You cannot see it.
