Anyone taking Tyenne (tocilizumab-aazg) for rheumatoid arthritis?
I suffer from severe rheumatoid arthritis since 2017. My Dr wants me to try a biological medication called Tyenne injection is. There someone that has experienced this medication? Little nervous to try

@sparkswd Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! I’m certain that someone with RA will respond to you. It may take a few days but they’ll be here!
@sparkswd, I moved your question about Tyenne (tocilizumab-aazg) for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) into its own discussion. I believe @mejob has experience with this medication.
Sparkswd, have you started the new treatment yet?
I've been taking Actemra, which is another form of tocilizumab, for almost a year. I take an injection every week for giant cell arteritis. I haven't had any side effects, and it has allowed me to taper prednisone from 60 mg per day down to 1. I was a little queasy at first about injecting myself, but I got used to it in a few weeks. It's pretty much foolproof with the auto-injector pens. I'm feeling better now than I have in several years. I expect to keep taking the injections for at least a couple more years.
I had my third weekly shot yesterday for ra
Rinvoq quit working after five years

Im just waiting and hoping they will start working. I am unable to walk right now. Good luck
