Anyone take Bone-Up calcium supplement?
I’m on a mission to change, adjust, add, anything to help my bone density improve. I’ve been taking Bone-Up for 5 years- since I’ve been diagnosed with osteoporosis, but my density continues to get worse. This supplement has Vitamin C, D, K2, magnesium but the calcium is elemental and says microcrystalline hydroxyapatite. Wondering if anyone out there takes this, or knows anything about it? Maybe I should switch to normal calcium supplement like Caltrate, or something else????

I just noticed this is an old thread but I'll chime in in case anyone is still monitoring it. I have been taken Bone Up for several months, mainly because it seems to have all the ingredients needed for bone building and the hydroxyapatite is supposedly the best form of calcium for bone building. I have never been one to take supplements and find it challenging to swallow 6 pills a day and remembering to take them. I see various comments about when, how , with what you should take it and I wonder if it's doing any good. I won't have another DEXA until next year and am a disappointed to hear you've seen no improvement after 5 years. I've been trying to find a liquid one I can take but none I've found so far have the right combination in the right concentrations.
