So Charcot is a complication from diabetes that causes the bones in your foot to become brittle and break apart turn to mush and absorb into your body. It deteriorates your bones and makes it so you can’t bare weight on you foot. Right now I am restricted to crutches and a knee scooter and it’s zero weight-bearing on my foot for the foreseeable future. this is very much an uncommon complication and hard to find anyone that’s even heard of it.
