Anyone have Xtandi, cabazitaxel and carboplatin regimen?

Will undergo this triple combination treatment for metastatic prostate cancer in bone; tried everything else, Erleada, xofigo, Pluvicto, radiation, etc. with no positive results; concerned about side effects and quality of life during process; wondered if anyone else has gone through same regimen? Appreciate responses!

I know people who have gone through that treatment. Cabazitaxel is easier On the body than Docetaxel, says people I know that have had it. Carboplatin does have some serious side effects, but it can be very effective. The thing is people I know that have had it have had very serious prostate cancer cases, and this was really the last chance solution. It does work well for some people, That’s why it’s an option.

People that have Neuroendocrine prostate cancer frequently have that combination. It can cause problems Because the body can’t create new blood cells for a while after treatment and that could be a problem if you get an infection. It can also lead to anemia. The thing is, you have done everything else and there really isn’t anything else in the prostate cancer playbook. Some of us face what you are having done as a possibility of what’s going to happen in our future. There is no alternative, at this time.

A clinical trial might address what you have without chemo. It’s something you could talk to your doctor about. It may be too late for that, however, Your case maybe beyond what the clinical trials want to accept.
