Anyone have severe ear/head pain 1 yr+, after CBT removal ?

I had a paraganglioma removed from the bifurcation of my carotid artery in July 2025 at Mayo. This past April they did an FNA (was benign) of a thyroid nodule (which was nowhere close to the pain area Im feeling, and not near the palpable lumps on my thyroid, was very low by my collarbone. The drs first figured it was my vagus never reacting to the tumor removal, but, in my opinion, that subsided after 11 mos. Now I have interior pain surrounding my ear and deep into my ear, and the lumps that have been below my jaw since surgery are larger and very painful. In the past month, the pain has increased to the point it will wake me suddenly and excruciatingly from a sound sleep. Dr. Moore at Mayo does not think my pain is from thyroid. I have an appt w him in 2 wks when I go back for my post- open partial nephrectomy semi-annual check. Anyone else experience this? I know there's not a whole lot of us Zebras out there.🙂
