Anyone have any experience with NYU Langone?

I am currently considering prostate surgery at NYU Langone and would greatly appreciate hearing about anyone’s personal experiences with both the surgical team and the facility overall.

In particular, I would love insight into:

* Your experience with the surgeon and their communication style
* How often your surgeon performs prostatectomies
* Recovery time and post-operative care
* Pain management after surgery
* Catheter experience and how long it remained in place
* Urinary continence outcomes and recovery timeline
* Erectile function recovery and what rehabilitation options were offered
* Whether nerve-sparing surgery was possible in your case
* The quality of nursing care and hospital staff responsiveness
* Scheduling, coordination, and overall organization of the process
* Whether you felt well-informed before making your decision
* Any unexpected challenges or things you wish you had asked beforehand
