Anyone had Pulsatile Tinnitus after ear infection/ruptured ear drum

I had an ear infection back in April and after going abroad the pressure in the plane upon landing caused me to have ruptured eardrums in both ears. These took around 2 months to heal but for the past few months I seem to have pulsatile tinnitus in my left ear. This doesn't seem to be matching my pulse but the ENT has did this can be irregular. These beats usually occur after waking and then last for all the morning and usually most of the afternoon. They are usually 1 beat then 20, 30 secs before another. I think they can also seem to be caused by yawning and burping too. The ENT didn't offer much in terms of advice or help on this only to suggest booking up another appointment if symptoms worsen.

After a cursory search online on symptoms other alternatives to Pulsatile Tinnitus seem to be

Middle ear myoclonus
Stapedius muscle spasms
Tensor tympani myoclonus
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems.

Has anyone had anything like this following an ear infection/perforated ear drum and how did you learn to deal with it or did it resolve by itself after some time?
