Anyone experiencing same pain after fusion of L1-L3 posterior?

Has anyone had a posterior L1-L3 in which spacers were put in because it was bone on bone, and well after recovery still experiencing severe pain?

@parkerr I see that you have had a few spine procedures on both cervical and lumbar. I'm sorry you are still in pain after your lumbar surgery. That must be frustrating. Have you discussed this with the surgeon? Nerves can take a long time to heal after a decompression surgery. Does your pain seem like it is muscle pain due to the surgical path or is it the same as the pain you had before your surgery?

Hopefully other members will be along soon who can share experience with lumbar surgery.

Jennifer, it is the same type pain before surgery, the good thing is that it is not a never ending pain like before surgery. Just worried something else is going on. I go in September for MRI,X-ray then meet with my neurosurgeon. Thank You so much for caring and responding.

I have seen and discussed this with my neurosurgeon, reassuring me that everything was fine, reminded me that I am using muscles that have. It been used since my injury (06/05/2017) I have made huge strides in my recovery and happy to say that I am now living life!! Not just existing.
