anyone else waiting?
after a recent diagnosis of osteoporosis, I am 65, I have decided to hold off on taking any RX medication. My blood work for calcium level came back normal. So apparently I have calcium but my bones aren't absorbing it. I want to know why. I have started taking Vitamin D3 to help with absorption. Anyone else in the same boat?

Yes! And upset stomach!
I went of prolia after 4 shots. Side effects awful for me and after research I should have not taken shot and tried the supplement route along with better diet and exercise which I just started. Very few docs for the most part keep up with the side effects and overall long-term use of the pharma pres ribed osteo drugs.
I’m sorry you had such side effects. I just had my first shot and although I was hesitant, I didn’t experience any side effects. They piggybacked it on after my iron infusion. I am anemic since a gastric bypass twenty two years ago.
It wasn't until after 2nd shot that I had problems by lowering your immune system and causing more infections. I use to hardly ever get sick from a cold. Etc., and it took weeks to get over. hair loss after 4th shot and other issues. Good luck with your health.
I eat 3 in the morning with my vitamins and 3 in the afternoon when I take my magnesium. I only buy Sunsweet d'Noir prunes which have zero preservatives. Six prunes twice daily I can digest perfectly. If I eat a 7th one, then my stomach reacts a bit. Start slowly and go from there.
How about in a smoothie? That’s how I’m eating kale!
