Anyone else have prostate cancer that exposed follicular lymphoma?

I'm 73 (74 in June) and have been slowly deteriorating (lol) since I turned 62. I found out that I had prostate cancer in October and, after consulting with radiologist, I asked if we could do tests to see the extant that the cancer had spread before whatever treatment I decided was for me. She scheduled a lymph node biopsy on Dec. 23rd. I just got back the lab results which show that I also have follicular lymphoma. I wasn't surprised but I now have an appointment with an oncologist to discuss this issue and treatments. It's a good thing that the biopsy was done since just removing the prostate might have prevented the doctors from discovering this secondary issue. If I weren't a proactive guy, I would have ignored the prostate issue and never done the prostate biopsy (was not a bad experience by the way) and wouldn't have had the second biopsy either (also a good experience). Now I'm faced with decisions that could lead to other problems, mainly lymphedema. My sister died two months ago and suffered terribly with the side effect of lymphedema. Not looking forward to wondering what may come next.
