Anyone else experienced Negative Dysphotopsia after Cataract surgery?

It's been 2 weeks since I had cataract surgery on my right eye....have been experiencing ND since then. My surgeon has suggested waiting 6 weeks to see if it improves by neuroadaptation and if it doesn't be wants to go ahead and replace my acrylic Toric lens with a silicone lens. I've heard sometimes it can take 3-6 months to improve so, am kind of worried with the timeline my doctor has set for the reason that it's easier to remove the lens at the the 6 week period. It's there a cut off point where an implanted lens can no longer be removed and replaced with a new lens? Would appreciate any feedback on experiences with Negative Dysphotopsia.
