Anyone else experience swollen lymph nodes for weeks after endoscopy?

My understanding is that this condition can occur after an endoscopy and that it is short-lived. My glands are still a little swollen after five weeks. Just had an ultrasound, with results coming in a few days. Meantime I am still curious if anyone else had this happen. The swelling happened after the procedure, which made me think it is related.

I just had a colonoscopy and the same symptom occurred within 5 to 6 hours after the procedure. The glands under my chin, under my ears on both sides were painfully swollen, with one side worse than the other. I don’t have any other symptoms. The doctor’s office responded that it’s unrelated to the procedure, but I am researching that it has occurred to other people. It seems to be getting a bit better after 48 hours.

I had this exact issue after anesthesia for a colonoscopy. About 6 hours after the procedure my lymph node under my left ear swelled up like a small egg under my left chin. It was extremely painful, 24 hours later it has receded about half of its original size.
