Anyone diagnosed with NPH who wears a smart watch?

I cannot wear my smart watch after shunt surgery because the magnet can change the shunt setting..
Is the OURA RING the best sleep / fitness tracker?

I have a magnetic shunt valve and have since 2001 (Cogman)
I have never been told I shouldn’t wear a smartwatch.

Check with your doc. Or ask ChatGPT if not seeing your doc for awhile.
Smart watches weren’t invented in 2001.
Maybe new guidelines want u to be extra cautious…
U can wear a smartwatch during the day if kept away from your head, but not to bed.
If u use a tablet u can’t have a case that closes with a magnet.
If u ever need an mri they temporarily turn the shunt off.

I am so looking forward to surgery and feeling better!
