Any side effects of using Eliquis for DVT with Prolia for osteoporosis
Recently diagnosed with Osteoporosis. Before starting Prolia, I got a DVT (blood clot ) in leg and put on Eliquis (blood thinner). Has anyone taken both Prolia and Eliquis and had good results or side effects?

I have taken Prolia every 6 months for about 10 years now. Dexa scans pretty good. No fractures. No obvious side effects after first few shots.
I have taken Eliquis for about a year for one incident of afib. No obvious problem except when I cut myself accidentally and the ER system failed utterly, I bled for 8 hours before getting stitched up. Small cuts not really a problem. Some bruising. No big problem. Knock on wood.
Thank you Tatiana for your response. Can I ask your age & if you had any co-morbidities beyond afib. I’m in late 70s; just started Eliquis in hospital for DVT- left leg& other dr. wants me on Prolia, D3 & Calcium with it. I have several issues including L4 lesion just discovered & appreciate any actual info can get to make decisions. One respondent was paralyzed after taking both, I read. Scary… so thank you for any knowledge you are able to share. Nan
I had my second prolia injection in December for my severe
Osteoporosis. I also take Eliquis
twice daily( since 2018) after a stroke and dvts in both legs while I was recovering in the hospital No issues so far
