any relief with pain pump?
I just finished 6 months of IViG with no success. My neurologist is going to schedule a nerve biopsy and pain pump?? Anyone have any thoughts? I have had idiopathic neuropathy and sjorgrens for nearly 15yrs. Thank you for your knowledge!

I’m so sorry IVIG didn’t work for you. I tried it for a year and also had no luck with it.
I hope you get a lot of responses regarding a pain pump because I’m thinking about asking for one. There’s so much I don’t know about them, especially what day to day living with one is like, and traveling, and exercising/swimming. In my case it would be more for back referred pain than neuropathy of my feet, legs, hands etc. as gabapentin definitely helps with that. But I’m 60 now and would love to believe that some of the adventures I still want to live are possible. The one thing I really struggle to accept is how small life becomes when you’re living with significant chronic pain.

@laurenthewise1 After my spinal cord stopped working, I tried the pin pump. The trial by injection went well. dropping my pain from a 7 to a 2. The first trial using morphine did nothing. Second trial with dilaudid was the winner. I had the permanent implant was just over three years ago. I have had exactly ON DAY of excellent pain relief. That was about 9 months ago. I'm still scratching my head over that. Hope you can find the help you need.
