Any recommendations for the best type of pads to wear?

I'm about 4 weeks post surgery and realizing I will probably need to wear pads for quite a while. Going back to the office next week, which will be a milestone. If anyone has tried different types of pads, or has a definite favorite, I would appreciate any advice.

I use Depends Ultra Absorbency and add in with a pad Assurance men’s maximum guard.
No leaks!
If I am really active I will wear a pair of sports underwear (stretch).
Then when I out I only have to replace the pad so it is discrete to just carry the pad.
Costco has sale on Depends right now $ 30.00 and but the pads at Walmart.
At night I just wear the Depends.
It has been 3 weeks since surgery.
Any extra Depends once I get to just pads and regular underwear I will donate to a men’s shelter.
