Hi everyone,
Is there other medications that I can take to replace my statin to treat high cholesterol?

I have been on Repatha as well, once monthly 5 minute subcutaneous infusions, (Pushtronic) and it has worked wonders. expensive but if you qualify financially the Healthwell Foundation will grant you free Repatha for a year, then you can reapply. You can find the information online and discuss the Rx details with your physician.

Red yeast rice will reduce cholesterol though it’s effectiveness will dissipate with long term use.

Red yeast rice has the same active ingredient as a statin.

I am doing Leqvio, The patient assistance program is covering what my insurance would not cover. My insurance would not cover 700,00 dollars of it.
I had a allergic reaction to Repatha.
