Alendronate & leg pains

Anyone experiencing leg cramps and aches with Alendronate? On and off I've been on alendronate for years and don't remember getting leg pains before.

Anyone have knee pain in only 1 knee from starting aledronate ( been taking for only 1 month? Should I be concerned & call my Doctor?

I have taken alendronate for about 2 years now. No problem with knee pain.

Thank you for the information. I have leg cramps and muscle aches, joint pains...

I take magnesium supplements and food has magnesium. I will watch out for my water intake.

I have bladder leakage control.. and it is challenging to take more water..

I was just started on alendronate (Binosto), took the first dose on Fri. Today is Sunday and last night I had pain in the right leg in a strange way because it didnt feel like muscle soreness after a workout and seemed to emanate from within - the pain was at the back of the leg and my foot. This morning I can walk but there is an ache at the back of the knee. I dont want to take this med if it keeps me from doing my regular yoga and workout. Can anyone pls share - does the pain get better with time? I also had a bit of giddiness getting up from the couch. Thanks. I will ring the doc tom and share what she advises.
