After being bedfast from necrotizing myositis and now walking doctor i

Diagnosed with necrotizing myositis 4 months ago and going from being bedfast to walking with a walker my doctor is stopping the methotrexate and prednisone while continuing IVIG, I’m worried my severe weakness will return. Is this too soon to stop these meds?
