Afraid it the treatment meds for osteoporosis

I’m 68 with latest spine score of-37. My body type is very thin with BMI 19- but I eat extremely healthy diet and do excellent exercise every day - no falls. I have no other health issues so dont need to take medications. I’m totally petrified to take any of the medications I’ve been told I need for treatment of osteoporosis. I don’t know what to do! I know breaking bones will be awful but I’m so weary of these poisons they want to put in my body.

exactly the same situation last test my hip femoral was finally in the osteoporosis category - 2.9 i'd been in osteopenia all the other times yet stranglely the doctor had immediately said - this while I was still below 2.5 , that Evenity "would be a lovely drug for you." LOVELY? She apparently never read the black box warning.

I'm a little worried because my life has been such that I haven't been able to exercise all the time - among other things broke a toe running into something in AUgust, don't think it was osteoporosis related but it kept me from working out for a month - plus lots of stress which I know isn't great for it either.

I'm ready to get those two tests , CTX and the one w the P, just so I can see what's going on before doing the test.

I just saw this.
All strontium is basically the same. What changes is the company and the standards, additives and price.
AOR has a great agency to oversee their product in Canada, and they have few if any additives. Pure Encapsulations Strontium Citrate also has few if any additives.
Vitacost has a great price point.
But there are lots of strontium brands which are good products.
