ADT only vs ADT chemo
My 74 year old husband has stage 4 prostrate cancer along with diabetes and heart disease. Surgery and radiation are no longer an option. They have recommended ADT plus chemotherapy. The chemo side effects and procedures are overwhelming. Does anyone have advice or experience as to doing ADT only or both?

You should ask if you can have Pluvicto Instead of chemo. They do a very similar thing And everyone I have heard from says Pluvicto Is easier. If your husband has multiple metastasis then they usually want to do chemo or Pluvicto. If he doesn’t have multiple metastasis, then that is probably why they are pressing for chemo.
People’s side effects from chemo vary a lot. The thing is, he will have better progression free survival if he does have that treatment, If it is the only choice.
Dying from prostate cancer is very painful. My father died from it and the last couple of weeks he could not communicate at all because he was on so much pain killer. Don’t let that happen.
Thank you so much for your response, I will check into that!!
usually not unless it's castration resistant?! Though you don't need to have gone thru chemo anymore to qualify.
