Acid Reflux and its Symptoms: Are they chronic?

Posted by mwarenski @mwarenski, Feb 13, 2017

Does anyone have a variety of symptoms associated with Acid Reflux that are chronic? Such as chest pain, back pain, weird tastes, etc.? Please tell me your symptoms. A little worried here...thinking it may be something more serious.

I take one as soon as I start eating my meal. It's suggested use is to take one at each meal.

Do you take them with every single meal? Can you share with me the name of the enzymes you were taking now? Thank you for sharing

Hopefully this medication will work for you. It made my symptoms worse! I had to get off of it as well as omeprazole and Pepcid. Once I stop the PPI’s Believe it or not my stomach got better no heartburn no lump in my throat. I get mild heartburn now but that’s due to my Gastro paresis and I manage it with gaviscon

If you're on PPI's for more than the recommended 14 days will have rebound when trying to get off!!

They are not easy coming off of them and after reading reports of how bad they are for you, I tried to come off of them. The first time I came off of them I had to open the capsule and pour off 1/2 of the beads, then slowly but surely I cut back, and back by 1/2 until I was finally off of them. After being off of them for about 1 year, I had to go back on them, but after about 2-3 days on them I had a terrible reaction to them and fortunately was able to stop cold turkey at that point. They never worked for me and I will never go back on them.
